Overview

  • We help our clients navigate the complexities of franchising by structuring a strategy based on the uniqueness of their situation.
  • Each engagement is focused on finding the most compelling opportunity as to brand, culture, and operating models in order to attain our clients’ goals.
  • We walk our clients through what being a franchise owner really means, based on first-hand experiences in business ownership, marketing, finance, and franchising in evaluating each franchise opportunity.

Self-Discovery

  • Through a proven combination of assessments and consultations, we work with you to come up with the key criteria for your search.

Finding The Best Match

  • There are more than 3,500 franchises in the United States, and investigating the right opportunity can be overwhelming. It’s difficult to know what the franchisors are looking for in a franchise partner. You may like their products or services, but that doesn’t mean you’re the right fit for their organization.
  • Does the franchisor want you to quit your job on Day One and work in your business on the frontline, or are they looking for a more passive owner who has an interest in opening 10 or more locations? These are extremely different ownership profiles.
  • We have direct relationships with hundreds of franchisors and are constantly in communication so we know exactly the profile they desire in a franchise owner. This knowledge helps ensure you are being introduced to franchisors who are seeking franchisees with your profile and goals.

The Due Diligence Process

  • Going through the due diligence process to determine if the franchise opportunity is the right fit for you is a long and complicated process. It should be, as it’s one of the biggest decisions you and the franchisor will make. And yes, the franchisors are evaluating you as you’re evaluating them during the process.
  • The due diligence process in franchising is very different from evaluating a traditional business. Franchising is highly regulated by The Federal Trade Commission, which requires steps and actions not present in the starting or purchasing of a non-franchise business.
  • We assist our clients through this complex process and have several tools that will help you get the answers you need in a faster and more productive manner.
